Thank you, @Keris Fox! That’s very encouraging. And I also enjoy these posts because they help me get out of my own head to give me new perspectives - and a better understanding of other people’s experiences.
A really nice interview, it makes me wonder how younger people might be seeing money differently from previous generations? I feel like work-life balance is different for GenZ, they realize that to live more like Europeans than American is maybe preferable for more rich experiences.
Financial literacy is so much at the core of how we live and how we spend our money reflects even our deepest values. An excellent tissue, really got me thinking.
Thank you for the kind words, Michael! The topic of Money and Generations is fascinating! I'm planning a series on that in the coming months, exploring how different generations view money, why these perspectives differ, how money beliefs and behaviors are passed down through generations, and how to build (or destroy!) generational wealth. There are so many exciting things to cover :)
I also found your comment about the European vs. American perspective very interesting. I'm French but have lived outside of France for most of my life, spending the past eight years in Amsterdam. Despite being close to each other, the differences in perspectives about work-life balance and money in general between these two countries are striking.
For example, I grew up with the limiting belief that only hard work has value. However, living in the Netherlands, I've discovered that smart work is equally valuable!
It's important what you are saying since it also so much aligns with the thinking of younger people today. Financial literacy has never been more important and our our real life experiences shape our feelings about money is a growing topic of interest. If you share snippets about these things on TikTok, let me know.
I like the whole Snowball idea you introduced me to, my French reading though is not so great.
I love these posts. Both the content and the format. Look forward to reading more.

You really got me thinking with all this questions Pauline! Thanks for proving us with a safe space to talk about money. It was a pleasure ❤️
