Hi, I’m Pauline.

I’m a bilingual personal finance writer (English and French) who’s lived in 8 countries. After ten years working as a financial education editor, I realized the content I was creating wasn’t reaching the people who needed it most, the ones navigating psychological barriers, financial trauma, shame, and exclusion from finance’s rules and jargon.

So I built Money Feelings, a space for people to explore their relationship with money like humans, not spreadsheets, and to reframe personal finance through the lens of emotional insight, cultural context, and human complexity.

Every edition is built for deep thinking and active learning. You’ll find guided reflections, interactive tools, easy-to-use spreadsheets, printables, phone screensavers, and beautifully designed exercises. All made to help you not just read about money, but actually change your relationship with it.

Money Feelings is also where you’ll meet brilliant professionals working at the intersection of money and psychology: financial coaches, therapists, addiction specialists, psychoeducators, planners, and more. Because just like there’s no one-size-fits-all solution to well-being, there’s no single right way to do money.

Who is Money Feelings for?

It’s for curious, creative minds who never saw themselves as “finance people.” People who’ve felt bored, anxious, or shut down by traditional money conversations.
People who want to feel better, not just richer.

Maybe you love psychology, cognitive science, reading, journaling, introspection. Maybe you know financial health matters, but you’ve always felt excluded from the conversation. Maybe you’ve been made to feel stupid by financial jargon, or ashamed by a system that judges your spending without understanding your story.

If that’s you, welcome!

With 2000+ readers in 83 countries, Money Feelings is the only money newsletter ranked in Substack’s Top 100 Rising in Health & Wellness, because financial well-being is health. And it deserves just as much care as mental, physical, and social health.

If you have questions, don’t hesitate to message me. If you’re ready to join us, it’s here 👇
